Reporting to the Production Manager, you will work closely with the operations team to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the refinery.
Candidates must have a passion for employee development and enjoy the process of training and developing both new hires and veteran production staff.
Responsibilities Execute on priorities and production plans provided by operations management and ensure that targets are met Lead a team of operators in the safe and efficient operation of the lithium refinery, ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements Set and drive expectations of disciplined operations through development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training programs to train and mentor operators Identify and troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and improve productivity Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and reduce costs Participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses as required Requirements Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a chemical or refinery operation Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of process control systems, process safety management, and environmental regulations Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, as required Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal Job Type:
