1 Description Duties and Responsibilities Implement assigned duties with an exceptional level of accuracy, timeliness and cost effectiveness.
Review and process all submittals and RFIs, ensuring compliance with contract documents and in accordance with project needs.
Participates and/or chairs meetings, coordinates agendas, prepares minutes and follows up on action items.
Assist in the monitoring, controlling and updating of project schedules.
Maintain current scheduling information.
Assist Project Manager in job and project forecasts as directed by the Project Manager.
Implement and maintain the expediting report to monitor both Kitchells and subcontractors material and equipment needs.
Implement job start:
up and close:
out procedures as directed by the Project Manager.
Monitor Chart of Accounts; periodically check time sheets for proper coding.
Prepare all estimated, actual and change order adjustments to the chart of accounts for Project Managers review prior to entry into computer.
Maintain job progress photo file.
Fully understand the scope of all subcontracts; keep Project Manager and Project Superintendent aware of potential challenges.
Assist in the planning and monitoring of the quality control program as outlined in the intranet Quality Assurance Manual, including roofing daily reports and inspections.
Acquire a thorough knowledge of the contract documents, plans, specifications, owners contract and subcontracts.
Where applicable, supervise, mentor and delegate work to be performed by Project Engineers and Interns.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Degrees, Licenses, Certifications and Experience Requirements:
This position requires a four year college degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field.
A minimum of five years work experience in construction management or related field required.
Remodel or renovation project experience a plus.
