Summary of the Job To assist the painter in the effort to paint all products to be shipped to customers by prepping the items to maintain flow through the booth.
To perform all assignments and work given to him by his respective supervisor in the day to day operational activities of the department to which he is assigned.
Demonstrate a willingness to work in a team environment and to get along with co-workers and colleagues.
Qualifications:
Required Education/Experience High School Diploma or GEDNecessary Skills Must have a general knowledge of machine shop operations, or the willingness to learn, the ability to properly operate various types of tools(grinding/sanding) to the satisfaction of the shop foreman, the ability to read paint mixing instructions and MSDS sheets.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essentialfunctions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body, able to reach over head, able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance for extended periods of time.
Be able to lift, pull and push material and equipment to complete assigned job tasks.
Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight throughout assigned workday if required.
Be able to operate a forklift (if required) and other motor vehicle.
Exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes and odors.
Moderate to heavy physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily production environment.
