OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN

To qualify for the GS-06 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Evaluating patients for referral to nurse or physician; Performing various screenings such as vital signs, spirometry, audiometry, and electrocardiograms (EKGs) and reviewing for completeness and accuracy; Verifying and ordering laboratory studies, x-rays, immunizations and other ancillary tests; Scheduling and coordinating physical exams; Maintaining medical records in accordance with applicable directives; Compiling statistical reports. To qualify for the GS-05 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Verifying and ordering laboratory studies, x-rays, immunizations and other ancillary tests; Scheduling and coordinating physical exams; Maintaining medical records in accordance with applicable directives; Compiling statistical reports; Ordering and receiving supplies and equipment; Maintaining accurate logs and tracking/tickler systems.
